IT field services & dispatch

Field engineers, dispatched to site.

Ticket-based site visits for installs, desktop and device support, surveys and swaps, carried out to your SLA, with photo sign-off at the end of every job.

What we do

A field team you can dispatch.

Many IT problems can be solved remotely, but some still need someone at the desk, in the branch or at the comms cabinet. IITECH provides field engineers who take a ticket, go to site, do the work and close it out properly.

We work for businesses with their own IT teams, for managed service providers and systems integrators who need South African coverage, and for global service providers who subcontract field tickets. You can keep your own ticketing system and templates, and our engineers will follow them.

Most visits are in Johannesburg and greater Gauteng. We also dispatch to other South African cities by arrangement, with travel and scheduling agreed per ticket or in your contract.

How it works

The dispatch process.

Clear hand-offs from the moment the ticket lands.

  1. Ticket received

Your ticket or work order arrives with the site address, contact, task, parts and SLA priority.

  2. Scheduled

We confirm the engineer, the time on site and any parts or access needed, and update the ticket.

  3. On site

The engineer checks in with the site contact, completes the task and escalates to you if the scope changes.

  4. Closed with evidence

We return photos, notes, serials and sign-off, so you can close the ticket with your customer.

Response times and SLAs. Response and attendance targets are agreed by priority and area in your SLA before we take tickets. Distances vary a lot in South Africa, so we agree realistic targets for each region rather than quote one national figure.

FAQ

Questions we get asked.

Something else you need to know? Ask an engineer directly.

Can we send you tickets from our own system?

Yes. You can email work orders, share them on WhatsApp or add us to your portal as a vendor. We update the ticket in the format you need.

Do you do desktop support site visits?

Yes. Our engineers handle end-user devices, peripherals and printers, as well as network points and small comms rooms.

Which areas do you cover?

Johannesburg and Gauteng day to day. Other South African cities are covered by arrangement, and we'll tell you honestly if a location isn't practical for the timeframe you need.

What is in a sign-off report?

Arrival and departure times, what was done, before-and-after photos, serial numbers of parts fitted or removed, and the site contact's sign-off.

Do you only work with large companies?

No. We work for small businesses, larger enterprises, MSPs and international service providers.
