Smart hands and field engineers in Nairobi.

Data centre smart hands, network installs and onsite IT support in Nairobi and across Kenya, with an engineer dispatched to your site for each job.

About Nairobi

East Africa's technology hub.

Nairobi is the main business and technology centre of East Africa. Many international companies, development organisations and regional headquarters run their East African operations from the city, and its colocation and operator data centres carry traffic for Kenya and the wider region.

Work typically sits in business districts such as Westlands, Upper Hill, Kilimani and the CBD, along the Mombasa Road industrial and logistics corridor, and in offices near the airport. Kenya's subsea cable landings are on the coast at Mombasa, with terrestrial fibre routes inland to Nairobi.

We scope each Nairobi request on its own: the site, the access rules, the parts and the dates. Then we confirm in writing who will attend and how.

Planning

Planning a job in Nairobi.

Practical points we agree before the engineer travels.

  • Facility accessColocation sites in Nairobi run their own access and escort procedures. You raise the access request, or authorise us to, and we supply the engineer's details in advance.
  • Parts and shippingParts are best shipped to the site or a local forwarder before the visit, with the delivery reference shared so the engineer can collect them on arrival.
  • Regional workThe same engineer trip can sometimes cover more than one site in Kenya or the region. Tell us about every site when you book so we can plan the route.
  • ReportingEach visit closes with photos, notes and the before-and-after state of the equipment, sent the way your process needs it.

How it works

How dispatch works.

From booking to close-out.

  1. Book

Send the country, city, site, task and preferred dates using the booking form or WhatsApp.

  2. Scope and confirm

We check access, travel, parts and local requirements, then confirm in writing who will attend and what it will take.

  3. Prepare

Access requests, method of procedure and parts delivery are lined up before the engineer travels.

  4. On site and close-out

The engineer is dispatched to the site, does the work to your procedure and closes out with photos and notes.

No standing response times. For work in Nairobi, dates and timelines are agreed per job in writing. If a request needs a rapid local response we can't provide, we'll tell you.
