Network engineering

Networks designed, installed and kept healthy.

Cisco, Aruba and Arista switching and routing, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi and VoIP, from site survey and design to install, troubleshooting and audit.

Our approach

From the patch panel to the policy.

IITECH network engineers work across the stack. They can mount and cable the switch, console into it, configure it and troubleshoot it when something changes. That matters when you need one person on site who can both find the fault and fix it.

We work on Cisco, Aruba and Arista platforms, among others, in offices, warehouses, branches and data centres. Typical work includes access and core switch replacements, firewall and router installs, SD-WAN branch rollouts, and Wi-Fi designs that give roaming coverage on a single network name.

We can also act as on-site hands for your own network team or a global integrator, following their configuration standards and change process.

How it works

How we work.

Every change has a plan and a way back.

  1. Assess

We gather what exists today: devices, links, configs, pain points and business requirements.

  2. Design

We propose a design or change plan, with a rollback plan for anything that touches live services.

  3. Implement

We install and configure in agreed windows, testing as we go.

  4. Support and audit

We document the result and can review the network regularly to catch weaknesses early.

Response times and SLAs. For break/fix support we agree response targets by priority in an SLA. For rollouts we agree dates site by site. Both are confirmed in writing before work starts.

FAQ

Questions we get asked.

Something else you need to know? Ask an engineer directly.

Do you support Cisco networks?

Yes. Our engineers install, configure and troubleshoot Cisco switching, routing and wireless, and work with Aruba, Arista and other common platforms. This describes hands-on experience. It isn't a vendor certification claim.

Can you roll out SD-WAN to multiple branches?

Yes. We install and cut over branch devices site by site to your schedule, working with your SD-WAN provider or your central network team.

Do you do Wi-Fi site surveys?

Yes. We survey the site, recommend access point positions, install and commission them, and check coverage afterwards.

Can you be hands on site for our remote network team?

Yes. We regularly connect consoles, swap hardware and patch cables while your engineers work remotely.

Do you provide network audits?

Yes. An audit covers devices, firmware, configuration hygiene, cabling and documentation, and ends with a written report and prioritised recommendations.
